Amanda Brief is the US Marketing Director at Clausematch. We recently sat down with Amanda to learn about her role at Clausematch.
I am the US Marketing Director. I am primarily responsible for driving lead generation and brand awareness for Clausematch in North America. This includes:
At the beginning of my career, I worked at Experian where I gained experience in all facets of Marketing, including planning events, owning our email marketing strategy, and launching lead generation campaigns. During this time, I attended graduate school and eventually obtained a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from Marist College.
In my previous role, I was the Head of Marketing at a small HR consulting firm. In this role, I was responsible for building the Marketing strategy and enhancing our brand in the market. As a Marketing team of one, I taught myself new skills like how to create videos, design Marketing collateral and learn new platforms like Pardot.
Before the pandemic, I volunteered for American Marketing Association’s Charlotte Chapter where I was the Director of New Member Onboarding. I hosted virtual and in person events to help new members get acclimated.
I was excited about the opportunity to join a growing global team. Clausematch is in the process of expanding to the United States, so there are ample opportunities to make an impact.
Additionally, I truly believe that Clausematch’s SaaS solution is the future of compliance, and I see it being a huge game changer in the RegTech space.
I’m currently in the process of coordinating a Policy Management workshops series with GRC expert, Michael Rasmussen. I’m looking forward to planning in-person events again and meeting with our prospects and clients outside of a virtual setting.
Jeff Weiss covered this in his blog post, but it has to be the time my coworkers encouraged me to jump from a 100-foot platform at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. Just a few days prior, I attempted to jump off this same platform, but I let my nerves get the best of me.
With the support of my entire team, I ignored my fear of heights and made the leap. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my colleagues cheering me on!
I like to say I suffer from wanderlust. I love traveling whether it’s exploring new cities in the US or traveling abroad. Outside of traveling, I enjoy reading, paddleboarding with my pup, going to concerts, and exploring new breweries.
That’s an easy one - Bali.
